Prints on Aluminum

Traditional photo processors print liquid ink dots onto a substrate, usually paper or canvas, resulting in a loss of resolution. The dye sublimation process, however, achieves a pure transfer of the original image by using heat and pressure to transform inks into a gaseous state and meld them into the substrate.
Metal prints are absolutely the most durable and longest-lasting photo medium available. When canvas and photo paper start to fade, crack, and crumble your metal print will look just as stunning as the day you bought it.
Cleaning is easy. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free or microfiber cloth, but any common non-abrasive household cleaner will work fine and will not harm your print.
Yes, you can hang your prints outdoors, but being in a shaded area will reduce fading. If your print is in direct sunlight for more than two hours per day you will eventually see some fading / loss of luster in the colors.

White Base + Ultra-Gloss is our best-seller. It produces a vibrant, stunning print that will shine from any angle and in any light with the sharpest level of detail and highest contrast. Any white colors in the photo are preserved and shown as true white. If you’re not sure which finish to choose, choose White Base + Ultra-Gloss.

White Base + Satin gives almost the same depth of color with a slight hint of contrast. Photos have no reflectivity but can appear a bit soft. Perfect for rooms where you have reflectivity concerns.

Dry mounting is a process which flattens and permanently mounts artwork to the 3/16” foam core. The ‘dry’ part of the term means that no risky wet adhesives are used in the mounting process. Instead, a sheet of dry adhesive material is placed between the artwork and the backing board. This product will be ready to take to the frame shop.

When you want your photo prints to look gorgeous, metallic photo paper is the go-to paper. A metallic print renders deep colors and a richness that no other paper can give. The main reason why metallic photo paper is unique is that it absorbs light instead of reflecting it. Therefore, if you place your metallic prints under direct light (preferably sunlight), the images will captivate you.
